These are the rules for using mesh. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Who can use mesh
You must be 18 or older. You must give your real date of birth, use your own first name, and keep one account for yourself.
What mesh is
mesh shows you people and plans nearby and helps you meet. It is a tool for arranging to meet; it is not a party to what you arrange. We do not run background checks and we cannot vouch for anyone you meet.
Community rules
mesh has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, bully or stalk anyone;
- post or send content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or illegal;
- pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your age;
- use mesh to sell, advertise, recruit or spam;
- use mesh to arrange anything illegal or dangerous;
- share someone else's private information without their permission;
- try to get around a block, or come back after being removed.
You can report a person, a mesh or a message from inside the app, and block anyone at any time. We review every report within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules and we suspend or remove the accounts of people who post it.
Meeting people safely
You are responsible for your own safety and your own decisions. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and leave if something feels wrong. In an emergency call the emergency services.
Your content
What you write and the photos you share stay yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to the people you chose to share them with, for as long as needed to run the app. You are responsible for what you post, and you must have the right to post it.
Your account
Keep your sign-in to yourself. You can delete your account at any time in Profile › Account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is used to abuse the service.
The service
We work to keep mesh running and accurate, but it is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. There may be interruptions and errors, and plans made through it may change or fall through.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for what other people do, in the app or in person. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
Apple
mesh is offered on the App Store. These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You must also comply with the App Store's terms of service.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use mesh after that means you accept the new terms.
